Through knowledge development and inspiration, we seeks to ignite greater passion and enthusiasm for seafood in the kitchen. It involves learning more about which ingredients are available from the sea, when they are at their best, and how they can be prepared in the best possible way.

Therefore, we have developed a handbook that serves as a useful everyday tool – for you as a member or supporter. This practical reference book provides information about species, seasons, fishing methods, and quality assessments, presented in a simple and clear manner. The knowledge in this book is quality assured by some of the foremost experts in their fields.

Thanks to a fantastic collaboration with members, the industry, and supporters such as county councils and the Norwegian Seafood Council, we have succeeded in establishing a national network that creates meeting places for the development of Norwegian seafood.
